Introducing Gabriele Poso - ' Roots of Soul'

Roots Of Soul is the 2nd album from the amazingly talented intrumentalist, Gabriele Poso. will be totally honest and say I only got familiar with Gabriele from an email i received few weeks ago - listened to the clips of the album & i was blown away. Done a bit more research on the interwebs and headed to his soundcloud page to get a feel of the record. My favourite tracks on the album include the smooth single sunshine, freedom, with me come fly, you don't love me. I have to be honest and say it's hard to pick a clear stand out track cos Roots of Soul is a solid piece of work. In a traditional sense, you may class the album as a jazz record but i don't think it is - it transends all genres of music to create what you can only class as Just Good Music.



The album is probably up there with my favourite albums of 2012. Don't think any album in the coming months will top this album in my honest opinion. His debut album, From The Genuine World has made it to my wish list & I will be buying it asap.

Regulars to my blog will be familiar with the amazingly talented singer/songwriter, Louise Golbey. She's just released visuals to How It Is from the briliant EP of the same name that was released few years ago. The EP gets regular plays including her latest acoustic EP, Keep My Feelings Hush

Loving the concept of the video & can't wait for some new material hopefully a full length album in the future. I Hope she gets all the recognition she deserves cos she is mega talented.

Esperanza Spalding - Crowned & Kissed ( Official Video )

Crowned and Kissed is taken from Esperanza Spalding's fourth studio album, Radio Music Society. The album was released earlier this year and gets constant rotation on the ipod. I've been into my Jazz lately with the likes of Esperanza, Snarky Puppy & Robert Glasper- just can't beat quality music if i say so myself.

DALEY - ALONE TOGETHER/ CLIMAX ( LIVE AT JAZZ CAFE )

For anyone that hasn't heard of the singer/songwriter Daley, i'll keep it simple heard over to daley.tv & download his mixtape Those Who Wait. Trust me, you won't be disappointed. The single Alone Together features fellow brit Marsha Ambrosius & is now available to buy in most digital outlets. You can find this song on his mixtape but please show your support by copping it. 

The official video has been out for a few months but you can check his live performance at Jazz Cafe - this is simply breathtaking. Usher came out with a big single Climax  taken off his new LP Looking 4 Myself. Daley's take on climax is refreshing & i definitely prefer his version to mr raymonds. Won't say anymore just press play :).
